Pixie Lott is a British singer, songwriter actress and dancer. She was born on January 12, 1991 in Kent and now lives in Essex. At 16, Lott was awarded a Dance & Drama Award (DADA) and completed one year from the three-year course at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts before leaving to pursue a career in music. She signed a recording contract with Mercury Records/Universal Music in February 2008, and later signed a music publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in December 2008. "Mama Do" is her first single to be released.

Lott attended, on Saturdays, the Italia Conti Associates Chislehurst at the age of five, before being awarded a scholarship to the main school, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
Lott appeared in the West End production of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" at the London Palladium and "A Celebration To The Sound Of Music" as Louisa Von Trapp on BBC 1 Television.
